In order to start receiving emails on your iPhone you need to create a new account within the settings of your device.

GO TO: Settings -> Mail, Contact, Calendars -> Add Account -> Other -> Add Mail Account

It will ask you for the following details:
Name: This can be whatever you want.
Address: Enter your full email address.
Password: Enter your email account password.
Description: This can be whatever you want.

Click Next

Select POP or IMAP

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com.au
User Name: Enter your full email address.
Password: This should already be filled in. If not; enter your email account password.

Outgoing Mail Server
Hostname: Please check with your mobile carrier.
User Name: May or may not be required. Please check with your mobile carrier.
Password: May or may not be required. Please check with your mobile carrier.
